What a weekend.

Took Friday off to attack the writing projects. Friday and Saturday I finished writing a mystery story for an open-call anthology due Oct. 1.

Sunday I put the final touches on a sci-fi story for an invitation-only anthology, due Sep. 30, as well as polishing the mystery story. I emailed the sci-fi story to the editor and emailed the mystery story to myself at work so I can print it there, since my home printer is acting up, sprinkling little Rorschach tests throughout a document. I'll snail mail that to the editors from there.

I also wrote my next review for Author magazine, due Oct. 1, and emailed it to the editor, the inimitable Jeff "Voyages of Imagination" Ayers.

This clears the decks for me to start my next project, details to come, but I will say this: it's wicked cool.
